Who I Am
As an Episcopal priest with twenty years of experience in individual spiritual direction, I create an affirming, inclusive space for seekers of all backgrounds to explore their deepest questions and nurture their connection with God. My passion lies in helping LGBTQ+ individuals connect or reconnect with their spirituality, whether within traditional church settings or along alternative spiritual paths. Drawing from my pastoral experience and deep commitment to inclusive ministry, I accompany individuals on their unique spiritual journeys with warmth, openness, and deep respect for each person's path and lived experience.
What I Do
In a typical spiritual direction sessions, I ask a few questions but typically say very little. I try to listen as deeply as I can, offering a contemplative, non-judgmental space where you can freely explore your relationship with God, your spiritual questions, and your life's journey. Together, we meet monthly for one-hour conversations that might include prayer, silence, scripture reflection where that feels appropriate or welcome (it’s not always!) or simply deep listening as you share your experiences of the sacred in your daily life. Whether you're wrestling with religious trauma, seeking to integrate your spirituality with your LGBTQ+ identity, or simply yearning for a deeper connection with the Divine, I walk alongside you as you discover and nurture your own authentic spiritual path.
How Much Does It Cost?
I believe spiritual direction should be accessible to all who seek it, which is why I offer my services on a sliding scale between $75-125 per monthly session. You determine where you fall on this scale based on your financial circumstances, and I trust you to choose an amount that both honors your budget and values our work together. While most spiritual direction relationships involve monthly sessions, I'm happy to discuss different arrangements to meet your needs, and I maintain a limited number of scholarship spots for those experiencing financial hardship.
